Can we be honest for a minute??  Answer a tough question for me.  WHY DON’T you exercise?   I hope you’re answer is because it’s just not a priority right now.  Honestly, that’s the only reason I can think of that makes sense.  I don’t like that answer but at least it’s honest!  In some cases that’s just the reality.   I understand the demand of being a parent, a wife, a coworker, etc.   It is tough to make yourself a priority and not feel like you are being selfish but the benefits of exercise will help everyone around you!  

Exercise does not have to be only about losing weight or looking a certain a way.  In fact, it shouldn’t be the only reason you do it!  I will admit, that is the reason I started working out again.  I wanted to lose the weight from having the twins.  Now, I have lost the weight and then some.  I am probably in the best shape of my life.  It doesn’t mean that I should stop working out.  Sure, it would be easier to stop and sleep in an extra half hour but I am proof that exercise changes your quality of life.  When I say exercise I don’t mean you have to be doing insanity, climbing the highest mountains, or running a marathon but something to get your heart rate up for 20-30 minutes!  It is proven that on average people that exercise daily are happier, have more energy, are more creative, have increased confidence, increase in libido, and decreased cortisol/stress levels.  So, if your initial answer was I don’t have time I say you MAKE TIME!!  Make time to change your life and be the best version of yourself by improving all those things listed above.  Imagine what your life would be like if all the things above were true. Wouldn’t you FEEl so much better?  Wouldn’t it be worth it?  20-30 minutes/day!!!  You can do it!!

  If you are someone that says “I hate exercise” it’s probably because you have had a horrible experience in the past!  Maybe it was an injury, maybe you didn’t get results you wanted, maybe it was embarrassing being in a class or intimidating going to a gym.  It is important to find the right type of exercise for you!  You deserve it!!
